Savenet Partner with Longford County Enterprise Board

Longford County Enterprise Board was one of the first companies to implement Savenet’s Online Backup solution. Since their establishment in 2005, Savenet have provided Longford County Enterprise Board with online back-up, ensuring their data is secure. We spoke to Michael Nevin about how this solution has benefitted their business.

Business needs

“Although no particular event occurred that persuaded us we needed a solution such as the Online Backup, we still felt it was necessary for our business. Before the solution was implemented our data was backed up manually each day by personnel. This system was very inefficient, unreliable and defiantly not the best solution to our problem” explains Michael. “When we found out about Savenet Solutions, the services they provided sounded ideal.

As part of the solution Savenet provides the Longford County Enterprise Board, data is back up each night meaning any previous data which is lost can be recalled easily. After each online backup, Longford County Enterprise Board receives an email containing details of the backup. The purpose of these updates is to reassure clients that the solution is working and all data is secure. “The solution is critical to our business as we cannot afford to lose data. It is a real comfort to know that our hard work and important information is always safe. As we are not a sales based company it is hard to put an exact figure on the value the solution has added to our business. However we would always ensure that our customers are aware that we are using online backup which gives them peace of mind also.” explains Michael.

Michael continues, “Any business with critical information should always have a backup solution. I can think of no better solution available than the one that Savenet provides our business.
